When a couple enlists a wedding planner, it’s only natural to wonder about the precise scope of our work and which tasks truly form part of the service.
At La Mona Lisa Weddings, we believe that transparency is paramount from the outset. Therefore, in addition to meticulously detailing everything we do include, we also like to clarify which aspects are not covered within our wedding planning services.
This article applies to all our services, not exclusively to our full wedding planning package.

What is included in a complete wedding planning service at La Mona Lisa.
Supplier Management and Payments
Within our wedding planning services, we accompany you throughout all coordination with suppliers, but certain arrangements always rest directly with the couple or each contracted professional.
Payments to suppliers are the couple’s responsibility.
We manage all necessary communication directly with them and assist you in streamlining the paperwork, but the final step and execution of payments are carried out by you directly.Menu tastings do not include our cover.
We would be absolutely delighted to attend and help you make decisions and review critical service details; however, in such cases, the cost of our menu would need to be added.We are not responsible for the individual work of other suppliers.
While we coordinate suppliers, if one, due to a lack of professionalism, fails in their duties, we will endeavour to mitigate any damage and find on-site solutions. Nevertheless, we cannot be held responsible for the individual performance of each external supplier. We can only guarantee 100% accountability for our own exemplary work.
Coordination, Logistics and Manual Tasks
Our role involves coordinating and overseeing the wedding to ensure everything flows seamlessly, but some specific tasks belong to other professionals or require additional personnel.
In the realm of wedding organisation, we believe it’s important to clarify these boundaries from the very beginning to ensure the entire process is much smoother and more realistic.
The size of our team may vary according to the complexity of the wedding.
For weddings, there will always be a minimum of two individuals: the senior wedding planner and their assistant. Should the service involve significantly greater complexity than usual, whether due to the number of guests, locations, or logistics, we will inform you if a third assistant is required to guarantee everything unfolds flawlessly.We do not undertake the work of other suppliers.
We assist in coordinating them and expedite processes whenever possible to meet deadlines. However, if, for instance, chairs need to be placed or heavy furniture moved, we will help you find a specific supplier to manage it.Handmade items.
If you wish to incorporate homemade touches, we will meticulously arrange them to ensure they look stunning. What we require is that the items arrive ready for placement, accompanied by clear instructions regarding their locations or timings, as we do not perform tasks such as manual assembly or piece-by-piece creation.Cleaning does not form part of our services.
At the conclusion of the event, we will gather our coordination and decoration materials, as well as your most important personal belongings, to ensure they are safe. However, we do not dispose of rubbish, sweep, or clean the venue, as these tasks fall under the responsibility of the celebration venue or a cleaning company.Transport of guests or wedding-related goods.
Our vehicle is essential for our own travel and for the materials we typically use. We do not transport belated guests or move boxes of beverages or furniture from one location to another.
Bureaucracy, Guests, and Optional Services
Beyond coordination and planning, many couples also consult us about personal arrangements or tasks related to guests and additional logistics.
While we will be delighted to guide you and help you discover solutions, certain responsibilities must be managed directly by the couple or through specialised suppliers.
Legal and ecclesiastical formalities must be performed personally by the couple.
We will guide you on the necessary documents, deadlines, and where to go, but we cannot submit paperwork on your behalf, sign files, or collect your marriage certificate.We do not act as a travel agency.
We can recommend options for your honeymoon or suggest hotels for guests, but we do not manage individual bookings, flight purchases, or travel complaints for family and friends.Individual guest follow-up is the couple’s responsibility.
We will provide you with tools to manage your guest list, but calling each of your relatives individually to ascertain their attendance or any allergies is a task that falls to you.We do not perform the duties of a nanny, pet sitter, or security personnel.
We adore children and furry friends, and we will assist you in hiring specialised carers if your dog is carrying the rings or if there are many young children. However, we cannot be responsible for supervising them during the wedding.
Similarly, if any guest becomes unruly or someone uninvited appears, we will endeavour to handle the situation with diplomacy, but we do not perform security functions, crowd control, or the expulsion of attendees.Our presence on the “Big Day” is for a duration previously agreed upon in the contract.
Typically, our service covers everything from preparations until the commencement of the open bar, immediately after the first dance. Should you wish for us to remain until the complete closure of the celebration, this can be arranged beforehand.
Optional Services and Extras
There are some services that can be added in a personalised manner, depending on the specific needs of each wedding and the complexity of the organisation.
These extras allow us to tailor the experience even further for each couple and offer additional support when the event demands it.
Candy Bar or sweet table service.
If you wish to add a touch of sweetness to your celebration, we will oversee the entire design of the corner. This includes assembly, the hire of decorative tableware, and the selection of your favourite sweets and treats, crafting a space that aligns perfectly with the wedding’s aesthetic.Extra assistants for the “Big Day”.
Our service invariably guarantees a team of two professionals. However, if your wedding involves a very high number of guests, multiple location changes, or particularly demanding logistics, we will add support assistants to uphold our standard of quality.Additional site visits or in-person meetings.
The comprehensive service includes a mileage limit and visits previously agreed upon in the contract. If you desire further meetings or travel beyond our usual radius, we can arrange these as an additional service.Personalised bridal website design.
We create an exclusive web page for your wedding to centralise important information for guests: timings, maps, dress code, hotel suggestions, and forms for RSVP, allergies, or intolerances.
